We are happy to deal with both the public and trade accounts.
What is the best way to contact Steadmans?
Contact us via email or via telephone, it can often be easier to email some sketch drawings to us of what you require.
Do you offer design service?
We do not offer a design service however we are happy to give guidance on our product performance.
Do you install buildings?
We focus on manufacturing a quality product for installation by others.
Can I order online?
You can submit an enquiry direct from the website using the online form.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity – please note however additional charges may apply for small orders.
How long to get a quote back?
We aim for a 24 hour response time to all enquiries.
What is the longest length you can press?
Generally for Plastisol and Polyester flashings this is 6 metres. Galvanised gutters can be up the 10 metres long.
What is the longest length you can supply as composite?
12 metres as standard for other lengths please speak with your sales contact.
What is the shortest length you can supply as composite?
1 metre, lengths under 2 metres will be subject to additional charges.
What is the longest length you can supply as purlins?
We can produce a maximum of 13 metres.
What thickness panels do you offer?
Composite panel thickness ranges from 40mm – 130mm.
What are the Minimum / Maximum product lengths?
Minimum and maximum lengths vary from product to product, generally minimum 1100mm / maximum 8000mm – 12000mm please speak to your sales contact for product specific information.
What are the product Lead times?
Lead times can vary depending on the product required – please speak with your sales contact at the time of placing your order. We will always try to accommodate specific requirements where we are able to do so.

What is standard product (flashings/sheets etc)?
At Steadmans we make everything to order and whilst many products are deemed as ‘standard’ within the industry we will work with you to provide the best solution for your project.
What colour range do you offer?
Please see our colour brochure, High volume colours will generally always be available – please note that colour charts are for guidance only, please request a sample for a true reflection of colour.
What is LPS 1181?
LPS1181 is the level of Fire certification applied to our PIR insulated panel, if you are unsure what level of fire certification your project requires please consult your local building regulations.
Do you have installation guides?
Installation instructions can be found in each product brochure.
What are the minimum cut backs on composite?
Minimum Cutback is 25mm.
What are the minimum cut backs on anticondensation?
Minimum Cutback is 50mm.
What are the minimum / maximum radius on curved sheeting?
Minimum Radius is 500mm with a maximum sheet length of 4 metres.
Where can you deliver to?
We deliver across the UK and Northern Ireland regularly, for any deliveries outside of these regions please speak to your sales contact: England & Wales 01697 478 277 / Scotland & Ireland 01698 819 050.
What days do you deliver to specific areas?
We will always try to work with your required delivery date – please speak with your sales contact at the time of placing your order – standard deliveries are Monday – Friday only.
Do you offer an offload service?
Standard deliveries are on a 45’ artic curtain sided lorry, other delivery options are available – please discuss at the time of placing your order. If you require a guaranteed Moffett assisted delivery, there is an addition charge for this service.
Do you have collection facilities?
We offer a collection service free of charge, all collections need to be booked in advance.
